Surpriiiiiise! Trevor has NJCAA World Series in Enid, Oklahoma this week. He knew his parents were coming, but had no idea I was tagging along. He was so shocked! First thing I said to him was “sorry for lying!” because I had been telling him what I WOULD have been doing had I not come along.
It was such a fun little road trip with his parents. Most people are like, “isn’t that weird?” NOPE. I have kick-ass in-laws. They love me as their own and I can be completely real and like myself with them. I’m damn lucky.
This trip is bittersweet. It’s like Trevor’s farewell to baseball. He won’t admit it, but I can see this is difficult for him. I wanted to be here for him and see him in uniform for the last time. Baseball is what brought us together. He played at Grand Canyon and I met him at a baseball player’s Halloween party. I’ve grown to love the sport and I’ll be sad when it’s over for him. But it’s a new leaf and I know he has accepted it. I love him so much and I’m so proud of the strong man he is. Again, I’m damn lucky.
1. Look in the mirror and say “Bitch, I’m fabulous.”

Thank you, sister<3
